Final UT Model (POWER)

THE BRIDGE
The bridge was based in the idea of an 'X' since it is a very powerful letter. This 'X' forms part of the bridge, versace's runway, job's cubes and the meeting place elevator

STEVE JOB'S BUSINESSAs shown in previous images, this working space was based in simple forms forming complex and useful structures. This space is so powerful, in my opinion, because from every floor you are able to see the others. And of course Jobs' personal office is on the top with a circular window that enables him to get a clear perception of the surroundings. Additionally, it is equipped with a giant interactive screen and a platform for helicopters.

DONATELLA VERSACE'S BUSINESS

In this image you can see both, the runway and exhibition place. The main idea was to express the italian sense in fusion with technology and power. For example, in the exhibition place (right) I used one of the scalar custom textures to give a sense of three dimensions, as if there are mannequins and other fashion items.
In this image I show Donatella's personal working space which may look simple but it has a complex and powerful facade. In fact, it has a secret emergency exit that leads to the bridge in case of hazard.

MEETING PLACE
As it can be seen it is not only a place where the clients meet in a table, but also it has a exclusive bar and garden where they can enjoy the beautiful views and relax.

Meeting Table

This table was based in the idea of a sculpture. I wanted to express its power by its height, materiality and form. The table is covered on a surface of glass that accentuates its monumentality. 

The chair is a combination of an apple and a v for versace as to express both clients characteristic figures.

Elevators

STEVE JOBS' ELEVATOR This elevator was based in the idea of an apple, since that is the client's logo. It expresses power because is not conventional. It is more like a ride than just an elevator. You can get a better look once you are inside and the elevator changes colour.

DONATELLA VERSACE'S ELEVATOR

This elevator was based in the idea of fashion. It expresses power because it has a unique shape that relates to her business and while you are inside it allows you to see the surroundings and specially, the runway.

MEETING PLACE ELEVATOR

This one has a simple shape with the main idea of two sides that connect to each other; expressing the fusion of the two clients.

UT Helpful Tip

The best way to deal with UT2004 is to play the game all the time and build the geometry. This way you can see clearer the little mistakes and more importantly, errors in the map so you don't have to do it all over again.
