Paccinini expresses in this sculpture a new and different kind of world where different species live. The way she probably approached this was probably mixing different characteristic features of actual species in the Earth. For example, these animals have human and canine features. After designing it, she proceeded to scuplt and from the picture it looks like she used clay. The sclupture is very uniform, but she might have used a structure.

Sydney Nolan in this painting expresses many different things from my perspective, including progession and historical highlights. The way he approached to do this was probably painting the background first and then, determining the order and position of the main figures of the painting. In regards to the materials used, it was probably just oil paint and paint brushes.
